iENA CRUZ: Street Art's Environmental Reckoning and Upcoming Rome Exhibition
In 2006, Federico, who is also recognized as iENA CRUZ, completed his Scenografia degree at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera and began his journey as a graffiti artist in Milan. He became a member of The Bag Art Factory collective, where he learned the importance of collaboration. After relocating to New York City in 2010, he encountered financial struggles before obtaining an O1 visa and a Green Card. His initial significant project was a mural for a cinema in Williamsburg. He later ventured into fashion and interior design alongside Zurcanei. In 2015, he contributed a Tricolored Heron mural for the Audubon Mural Project and, in 2018, painted a mural in Rome using CO2-absorbing paints. His artwork will be featured in 'Street Art for Planet Earth' at Galleria Rosso20Sette in Rome, starting 28 November.
