Hypermaremma Brings Contemporary Art to the Ruins of Ancient Cosa at Ansedonia
The exhibition Ogni Cosa Intatta, which opened on 19 September 2026 at the Parco Archeologico dell'Antica Città di Cosa, showcases four site-specific artworks at the Roman ruins of Cosa in Ansedonia, Grosseto. Curated by Chiara Serranti and Giulia Tentellini, the event features creations by Iva Drekalovic, Maria Ludovica Gugliotta, Marie Anne Hervé, and Yuxiang Wang, all developed during the HYPERESIDENCIES I residency. Wang's piece includes a bronze cloud and an olive tree struck by lightning, while Gugliotta's terracotta work releases local aromas. Hervé's installation at the temple of Mater Matuta features a reflective threshold accompanied by a vocal piece. Drekalovic’s steel bell draws inspiration from pirate lore. The initiative is supported by Regione Toscana through Giovanisì.
