Fondazione Brodbeck Hosts 'Le forme del mutamento' in Catania

The Fondazione Brodbeck in Catania is hosting the exhibition 'Le forme del mutamento: navigare il tempo tra memoria e materia', the concluding event of the Coalizioni Isola project. Promoted by Isola Catania, a hub for innovation and cultural regeneration, and supported by the Laboratorio di Creatività Contemporanea of the Direzione Generale del Ministero della Cultura, the project aims to connect contemporary artistic research with local development. The exhibition features four artists—Alessandro Costanzo, Silvia Muscolino, Roberto Orlando, and Margherita Pedrotta—who explore the fluid and mutable nature of the past in the present. The title, poetic and evasive, uses the cloud as a metaphor for an archaeology of lived experience that resists fixed definitions. The display, designed by architecture studio Analogique, employs a minimal infrastructure—a continuous line of heterogeneous elements—that acts as an inverted white cube, exposing technological devices and integrating the works into the post-industrial archaeology of the venue. Curated by Bronzino and Cammarata, the show rejects a univocal narrative, inviting visitors to construct their own interpretive framework. The synergy between Isola Catania and Fondazione Brodbeck asserts art as an ecosystem of relations, bridging individual and collective memory.
