Il Danforth Museum inaugura la retrospettiva di Neal Rantoul 'A Life in Photographs'
Il Danforth Museum of Art, situato a Framingham, Massachusetts, ha inaugurato "A Life in Photographs", una retrospettiva dedicata al fotografo Neal Rantoul che abbraccia sei decenni e resterà allestita fino al 20 dicembre 2026. La mostra presenta 94 stampe realizzate tra il 1973 e il 2023, organizzate da Rachel Passanante in quattro temi distinti. Include due serie complete: Solothurn, CH (1981) e Shirley, MA (2023), che fanno da cornice alla collezione. Rantoul, che ha conseguito il Master of Fine Arts presso la Rhode Island School of Design nel 1973, ha insegnato in varie istituzioni, tra cui la Harvard University e la Northeastern University. Le sue opere sono presenti in numerosi musei e ha pubblicato libri come American Series (2005) e Neal Rantoul: The 8 x 10 Photographs, 1984-2005, in uscita nella primavera del 2025. Rantoul continua a dedicarsi all'insegnamento.
