Chiostro del Bramante Celebrates 30 Years with 'Food. Il gusto nell'arte'
'Food. Il gusto nell'arte' will take place at the Chiostro del Bramante in Rome from 17 October 2026 to 29 March 2027. Curated by Suzanne Landau, this exhibition celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Chiostro and showcases 190 pieces from more than 60 artists. It investigates the connections between food and themes such as identity, desire, power, and the environment, divided into six categories. Notable contributions come from artists like Marina Abramović, Sophie Calle, and Carrie Mae Weems. The venue will feature two immersive installations, 'Sweet Memories' and 'Pasta Shell Grotto.' Collaborations with Coldiretti and Ospedale Pediatrico Bambino Gesù will provide educational opportunities, including guided tours and workshops in partnership with various cultural institutions.
