Bruxelles ospita tre mostre per il centenario del Surrealismo
Bruxelles celebra il centenario del Manifesto del Surrealismo con una serie di tre mostre. Il collettivo surrealista belga, guidato da Paul Nougé, Marcel Lecomte e Camille Goemans, si distinse dai suoi omologhi parigini per l'enfasi sull'anonimato, l'umorismo e l'attivismo politico. 'Histoire de ne pas rire. Surrealism in Belgium' è in mostra al Bozar fino al 16 giugno 2024, con 260 opere e oltre 100 documenti, inclusi contributi di Jane Graverol e René Magritte. Nel frattempo, i Musei Reali di Belle Arti presentano 'IMAGINE! 100 Years of International Surrealism' fino al 21 luglio 2024, con 140 pezzi, come 'Soft Construction with Boiled Beans' (1936) di Dalí. Il Museo Magritte ospita 'Magritte-Folon. The Dream Factory' fino al 21 luglio 2024.
