Bottega Cini Hosts Erté Talk and Glass Photography Show with Franco Maria Ricci

Since June, Bottega Cini in Venice has hosted a permanent bookshop for Franco Maria Ricci Editore, the first official FMR point of sale outside Fontanellato. On Friday 11 September at 18:00, Valerio Terraioli will give a free conference on Erté's costume designs for cinema and theatre during the Art Deco era, held at Bottega Cini in Dorsoduro, opposite Palazzo Cini. The talk ties to the exhibition 'Lo stile è tutto' at the Labirinto della Masone, open until 13 September. From 10 to 20 September 2026, Bottega Cini presents 'Perle di luce', a photography show by Mattia Gaido on glass artisans, in dialogue with FMR publications, coinciding with the Venice Glass Week (12–20 September). The exhibition is free during opening hours (10–18, closed Tuesdays), with talks, workshops, and live demonstrations. FMR's bookshop offers volumes from series such as Segni dell'uomo, Quadreria, Biblioteca di Babele, Il Labirinto scritto, and Dédale, plus FMR magazine issues since 2021. The Labirinto della Masone, designed by Ricci with architect Pier Carlo Bontempi, features 200,000 bamboo plants. Bottega Cini was founded in 2020 by Marco Vidal and Prince Giovanni Alliata di Montereale to reinvent the Renaissance workshop.
