Arnaldo Pomodoro Centenary Exhibition Opens at Gallerie d'Italia in Milan
In Milan, Gallerie d'Italia, in partnership with Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro, is hosting 'Arnaldo Pomodoro. Una vita' to honor the artist's centenary. Born in Morciano di Romagna in 1926, Pomodoro passed away in Milan on 22 June 2025. Renowned for his public installations like the Grande Disco and Sfera, the exhibition features more than sixty years of his creations, beginning with 'Ouverture' and including 1950s reliefs such as La Ruota. Works from the 1960s and 1970s include Rotante and Forma X, while the Papiri series emerges in the 1980s. The exhibition concludes by linking Pomodoro's sculptures to those of his contemporaries. It is open until 18 October at Gallerie d'Italia, Piazza della Scala, 6.
