Ali Banisadr's "Talisman" Opens at Thaddaeus Ropac Paris Marais Through October 2026
Ali Banisadr's individual exhibition titled "Talisman" is currently on display at Thaddaeus Ropac Paris Marais until 10 October 2026. Concurrently, he has a carte blanche at the Musée national Gustave Moreau and presents "Temple of the Mind" at the Buffalo AKG Art Museum. These exhibitions delve into the transformation of vision into experience. The Buffalo show emphasizes the convergence of perception, memory, and imagination, while the Paris exhibition highlights the remnants of creation in each piece, hinting at an alternate concept of time. Banisadr's artworks, such as "Smoke & Mirrors" (2026) and "Terrible Beauty" (2026), merge drawing, painting, and sculpture, embodying themes of surfacing, disturbance, and trace, with the talisman symbolizing the work's lasting impact beyond its initial setting.
