Zeitz MOCAA Unveils 2026 Gala Extended Cultural Program in Cape Town
Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa has revealed its 2026 Gala Collateral Programme, a three-day cultural itinerary from February 20-22, 2026 in Cape Town. Curated by Hamzeh Alfarahneh under the theme 'By the Footsteps of the Beloved', the program includes exhibition tours, studio visits, and events across Cape Town and the Winelands for gala attendees. The initiative, originally developed by the late Koyo Kouoh, aims to strengthen connections within the local art community while supporting the museum's educational and curatorial programs through its annual fundraising gala. Honorary awards will be presented to Abdoulaye Konaté, Dr Anita Blanchard and Martin Nesbitt, and Justice Albie Sachs during the gala evening, which features performances and hosting by notable cultural figures.
