White House launches video games featuring migrant arrests and border wall building

One game, 'Rio Run,' an updated version of Snake, shows a digital version of border tsar Tom Homan chasing migrants of different skin colors along the Rio Grande on the Mexican border. Another, 'Build the Wall,' based on Tetris, instructs players to 'Protect the border from the coming horde.' A third game involves collecting nets to place into 'Trump accounts,' investment accounts with a $1,000 deposit for children born between 2025 and 2028. The White House promoted the games on X with a video featuring a 'Make America Great Again' logo styled after Sega's logo. The games are part of a broader effort to engage the public with the administration's policies, but critics argue they trivialize serious issues and dehumanize migrants.
