White Cube Brings Baselitz, Calder, Frankenthaler and More to Art Basel Paris
At Art Basel Paris, White Cube is presenting a group show that includes notable artists like Georg Baselitz, Alexander Calder, Helen Frankenthaler, and Antony Gormley, to name a few. A standout piece is Ibrahim Mahama's textile and metal artwork titled Nyamuthia (2025-26), which ties in with his upcoming solo exhibit 'The Harvest Season' at Fondation Cartier, opening on 22 October 2026. Also on display are two gold paintings by Baselitz, Große schwarze Volksflügel and Gold ohne Hemd, created in 2025, which are some of his last works before he passed away in April 2026. There’s also a new painting from a London artist, but details are still under wraps. This exhibition highlights White Cube’s support for both established and new artists at this major event.
