The FX documentary series Welcome To Wrexham has been renewed for three more seasons, continuing to follow the Welsh football club's journey under Hollywood ownership. Actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney purchased Wrexham AFC for £2 million in February 2021, leading the team through consecutive promotions from the National League to the Championship. Their stated goal remains reaching the Premier League, currently just one division above. Reynolds announced the renewal to his 50 million Instagram followers, revealing that season five premieres on May 14. The series, available on Disney+ in the UK since its 2022 launch, has earned 10 Emmy Awards and two Critics' Choice Television Awards.
