Walls&Love 2026 Brings Four New Murals to Valence by Tournier, SOBEKCIS, Taquen and Sêma Lao

festival-fair · 2026-10-02

The fourth iteration of Walls&Love, a festival celebrating murals and graffiti in Valence, France, has unveiled four significant public art projects. Rémi Tournier's still life, titled Waiting for the Sea, measures 13 by 6 metres and is located at 151 Rue Faventines. At 1 Rue Juiverie, Serbian twins Ivan and Nikola (SOBEKCIS) have created a 17 by 10 metre abstract piece. Near Saint Apollinaire Cathedral, Taquen's 14 by 9 metre work, Valentia, connects Valence's Roman heritage to the Spanish term for courage. Additionally, Sêma Lao's diptych, The Great Cormorant's Fishing, adorns two sides of the Pêcherie complex. A collaborative wall spanning 60 metres was painted by multiple artists in Basse-Ville. The festival, hosted by the Sorry Graffiti collective, lasts for three weeks.
