Viviane Esders Launches Website for Her Photography Collection

Viviane Esders, a seasoned gallerist and photography connoisseur since the 1980s, has unveiled a website showcasing her extensive private collection of more than 2,500 prints from the 20th and 21st centuries. This platform provides a glimpse into the collection, which has never been fully displayed, featuring four online thematic volumes: "Coups de cœur," "Portraits," "Femmes photographes," and "Enfance." Esders established her gallery across from the Centre Pompidou in 1979, curating her collection through personal connections. Her themes encompass portraits, architecture, industrial objects, festive scenes, and conceptual photography. A graduate of HEC in 1976, she collaborated with notable artists in New York and introduced various photographers in Paris. In 2025, she received the title of Officier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
