festival-fair · 2026-10-12

The Festival of Vision and Digital Culture, known as Videocittà and established by Francesco Rutelli, took place in Naples for the first time on October 10–11 at the Real Albergo dei Poveri. This year's theme revolved around the sea as a cultural inspiration and gathering space. Following nine successful editions that drew over 500,000 attendees, the festival introduced contemporary art and digital innovations to Naples. Installations were showcased in the Refettorio, Galleria Centrale, and Corte Interna, highlighting their architectural beauty. Mayor Gaetano Manfredi praised the festival's impact on urban renewal, while Campania Regional Councillor Onofrio Cutaia stressed the importance of institutional cooperation. The event received funding from the Comune di Napoli and Regione Campania, with contributions from Scabec. The project team comprised Natalia Bagnato, Michele Lotti, Giulia Funari, and Guido Pietro Airoldi.
