Victor Hugo Theatre Hosts Young Companies Day Featuring Performances 'Ravivé.e.s' and 'Prodigue'

The Victor Hugo Theatre is presenting a Young Companies Day, showcasing emerging artistic groups with a focus on renewal in performance forms. The event includes two main performances starting at 7 PM. 'Ravivé.e.s' by Cie MOTIO, lasting one hour, follows two isolated characters in a screen-dominated space where artificial lighting dictates visibility; they seek escape through dreams and must reconnect with nature after an unexpected event, guided by fire toward liberation and reconstruction. 'Prodigue, ou les rêveries d’un homme en chute libre' by Eloi Lefebure of Les Dandys Production, running 50 minutes, features Willy, the last human operator in a 47-story intensive cattle farming complex, who escapes, leading to a clash between artificial power and living poetry in an initiatory tale with epic clown combat. This dreamlike fable uses shifting stage elements and mixed scales to create elusive imagery, described as a clownish farce that repositions humanity. The theatre's initiative underscores its commitment to supporting promising young artists through debates and discoveries.
