Upstate Art Weekend Returns with New Smart Itinerary Builder

The seventh edition of Upstate Art Weekend, a five-day festival spanning 10 counties in the Catskills and Hudson Valley, introduces an online smart itinerary builder that lets users filter by distance, direction, and art genre. The event, running from June 25, 2026, offers a chance for artists and art lovers to connect. Notable attractions include the newly renovated KinoSaito in Verplanck, Richard Sandler's street photography at Capa Space in Yorktown Heights, and architectural sites like Boscobel and Lyndhurst Mansion. At Magazzino Italian Art in Cold Spring, the exhibition "Tutto Boetti: 1966-1993" showcases Alighiero Boetti's early works, algorithmic drawings, and embroideries from his "Tutto" series, including a world map and black-and-white checks. The courtyard features a bronze self-portrait with a heating element. Boetti's work, associated with Arte Povera, explores identity, authorship, and chance.
