UnitedUs Rebrands Twinnin With Holographic 'Human Verified' Mark for Facial Consent Registry
UnitedUs, an agency based in Brighton, has undertaken a rebranding for Twinnin, a registry focused on consent, licensing, and provenance for human faces, co-founded by Katrien Grobler and William Haakon Berg. The revamped identity introduces a holographic 'Human Verified' mark that signifies consent from actual individuals. The logo incorporates facial-recognition mapping coordinates, accompanied by the slogan 'Your face. Your control.' and 3D badges labeled Licence and Defend. Twinnin aims to expand its reach beyond just celebrities. With Licence, users can authorize brands to utilize their likeness for compensation, with Model Management being the initial participant. Defend enables users to authenticate their identity and resist AI training, all recorded on a public blockchain. Grobler mentioned SAG-AFTRA's consent regulation, while identity firm Entrust reported a staggering 3,000% increase in deepfake attempts from 2022 to 2023.
