TypeType Foundry Website Receives Comprehensive Redesign by Comence Studio

On February 27, 2021, Comence Studio, led by Pavel Emelyanov, unveiled a complete website overhaul for TypeType, a digital type foundry. The project involved a fundamental reimagining of the platform's structure and functionality. Key enhancements include a redesigned font catalog that also serves as the main landing page, offering three distinct review modes with integrated testing capabilities. Users can now experiment directly with any font family on screen. The updated site provides comprehensive details for each typeface, covering glyph sets, OpenType features, technical specifications, and visual specimens. Victor Shkidina handled the coding implementation, while Daniil Zherdev contributed animation work. The redesign aims to improve user experience by consolidating information about TypeType's offerings and streamlining font evaluation tools. This digital initiative represents a significant upgrade to how the foundry presents its typographic products online.
