The Unconformity Festival Launches Paid Artist Positions for 2027 Event
The Unconformity has initiated a new program offering three part-time employment contracts to Tasmanian artists. These Ongoing Artist positions provide 18-month contracts from May 2026 through October 2027, with artists working one day weekly to develop new works that will debut at The Unconformity 2027 festival. The initiative follows the organization's successful 2025 festival in Queenstown. Selected artists will receive standard employment benefits including leave and superannuation.
