The Chorus Fashion Theatre Merges Fashion, Performance, and Narrative at Berlin Fashion Week

The Chorus Fashion Theatre & Pop-Up, a multidisciplinary event hosted by Aianadi, was held at the Chaussee 36 gallery during Berlin Fashion Week. The event began with a curated Fashion Pop-Up showcasing independent designers, followed by THE CHORUS Fashion Theatre, an immersive performance inspired by the Aianadi Method, created by Mariami Aianadi. This innovative approach combines fashion, movement, and visual narratives to delve into themes of emotion and culture, drawing from the structure of the ancient Greek chorus. The performance focused on control, transformation, identity, feminine consciousness, and liberation, portraying a protagonist's journey to self-liberation. The evening also featured DEDA, a fashion performance that addressed inherited wounds and identity through Butoh movement. Alexey Kochetkov's project 5 String Theory provided a live musical backdrop, merging a five-string violin with digital elements and neo-classical sounds. The night concluded with an afterparty and networking session. Designers such as Sinuous Sisters and Verginale Works were highlighted, alongside performers including Jan3tt S7r and Mariami Aianadi. Pop-Up designers featured Studio55, Gelb, and others.
