Spanish Film Days: Los destellos at Belvedere's Blickle Kino

The Belvedere museum in Vienna is hosting a screening of the Spanish film 'Los destellos' as part of the Spanish Film Days. Directed by Pilar Palomero, the 2024 Spanish production runs 101 minutes and is shown in its original Spanish with English subtitles. The film stars Patricia López Arnaiz, Antonio de la Torre, Marina Guerola, and Julián López. The plot follows Ramón, who is terminally ill, and his daughter Madalen, who supports him in his final phase and persuades her mother Isabel to assist her ex-husband. The renewed encounter after a long separation confronts Isabel with a past she thought was closed, but during their time together, a new closeness develops that changes her perspective on the present. The screening takes place at the Blickle Kino, and participation is free but requires a free event ticket. The event is organized in cooperation with partners, and it also includes a preview screening of 'Looking for E.G.K.' The event is part of the Spanish Film Days, a cultural initiative bringing Spanish cinema to Austrian audiences.
