Sotheby's to Auction Dorothy and Roy Lichtenstein Collection Ahead of Whitney Retrospective
Sotheby's is set to host a two-part auction featuring pieces from the collection of Dorothy and Roy Lichtenstein, named Reflections on Pop, ahead of the Whitney Museum's exhibition Roy Lichtenstein: Like New. A live auction with 23 lots will take place at the Breuer building on October 7, while an online auction featuring over 120 works will be available from September 25 to October 9.
