Sophie Kondratenko Designs Kinetic Web Experience for Zurich Running Club Pace Züri

digital · 2026-09-17

Sophie Kondratenko, a digital designer, has crafted a comprehensive web experience for Pace Züri, a contemporary running club based in Zurich. This project reimagines street running as an engaging, organized activity, drawing inspiration from Swiss graphic design and modern sports culture. The design utilizes a six-column modular grid on a 1920-pixel desktop layout with 80-pixel side margins. A geometric monogram, reflecting the curves of running tracks, sits on an eight-pixel grid with vibrant orange highlights. The text features the geometric grotesque Inter for body content, scaling to 384 pixels for headlines, while Bebas Neue is used for metrics. A vibrant color palette includes deep black, bright white, neutral grey, and electric orange. Interactive route cards provide details for various loops, while a bold banner proclaims "RUN THE CITY." The mobile-friendly layout offers swipeable cards for community pacers and schedules, and you can check out the project on Behance.
