Simone Rocha to Stage First Standalone Menswear Show at Pitti Uomo

Simone Rocha will present her first standalone menswear runway show as a guest designer at Pitti Uomo in Florence, Italy, in mid-June 2025. Rocha, who introduced menswear in 2022, told Vogue's Luke Leitch in March that she now feels ready for menswear to stand on its own. She joins fellow guest designers DSM Kei Ninomiya and 2024 LVMH prize semifinalist Jiyong Kim. Pitti Uomo, a trade-focused event, began inviting guest designers in the 1990s to stage one-off shows. Lapo Cianchi, Pitti's director of communications and events, noted in 2022 that the guest designer program distinguishes Pitti from a mere trade fair or fashion week.
