Sharjah Biennial 14 Explores Echo Chambers with 80+ Artists Across UAE

The 14th Sharjah Biennial, titled 'Leaving the Echo Chamber,' runs from March 7 to June 10 across various venues in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Curated by Zoe Butt, Omar Kholeif, and Claire Tancons, the exhibition features over 80 artists, predominantly presenting new works. The biennial is structured in three parts, aiming to investigate artistic production amid monopolized news sources, fictionalized history, displaced societal ideas, and culturally dictated borders. Beyond the core exhibitions, the event includes public installations, performances, film screenings, and music sessions, creating provocations about renegotiating contemporary life's echo chambers. Historical sites throughout Sharjah host the program.
