festival-fair · 2026-03-24

Colombian singer Shakira has expanded her Madrid concert residency by adding two new dates, bringing her total performances in the Spanish capital to eleven. The additional shows are scheduled for October 10 and 11 at the Iberdrola Music venue. This announcement follows strong ticket demand during presale and general sales periods. With these additions, Shakira now holds the record for the most consecutive concerts by an artist in Madrid, surpassing Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny's planned nine performances at Estadio Metropolitano in June. Bad Bunny does have two additional Barcelona dates on his tour. Shakira's residency previously included nine dates: September 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27 and October 2, 3, 4. Each event will feature an extended twelve-hour experience called 'Es Latina,' running from midday until midnight on show days. Within the venue, organizers have created a dedicated area called the 'Shakira Stadium' with capacity for 50,000 attendees daily. The concerts represent a significant cultural event in Madrid's music scene, demonstrating strong audience interest in Latin music performances.
