Sculpture Network Forum in Berlin Examines Return of Figuration

Scheduled for October 29 to 31, 2026, the 16th International Forum of the Sculpture Network, titled 'Bodytalk – The Return of the Human Figure in Contemporary Sculpture,' will take place in Berlin. This event, co-curated by Anemone Vostell and Anne Berk, delves into themes of identity, love, power, technology, and the connection between humanity and nature at Kunsthaus Dahlem. Dr. Dorothea Schöne, the director, will open the exhibition. The program features lectures from Anna Mustonen, Agnes Questionmark, and Anne Wenzel. Additionally, collectors Teresa Calbo and Kateřina Havrlant will share insights on collecting figurative sculptures. The final day includes a visit to Hamburger Bahnhof for the 'Endless Exhibition,' a guided tour of the Noack Foundry, and concludes with dinner at Bar Brasse.
