festival-fair · 2026-10-16

The fourth installment of San Lorenzo Gallery Night in Rome drew a vibrant, youthful crowd. Monitor presented a dual solo exhibition featuring Satya Forte (2000) and Pedro Zang (2001), where Forte incorporated her hair into her artwork while Zang depicted personal memories through vivid canvases. Matèria introduced Luci di via, showcasing illuminated animal-head silhouettes by Leonardo Zappalà (1998) alongside a narrative by Federica Roppo. Monti8 reopened with Would?, featuring four artists, including Talya Brookmann and Kira Scerbin. Gilda Làvia's A che gioco stiamo giocando, curated by Anna Simone, presented eleven artists exploring themes of war, climate change, and women's experiences. The event highlighted a rich array of creative expressions and a robust representation of emerging artists.
