Samsung Wallet to Enable USDC Transfers Across 82 Million Galaxy Devices in the U.S.

digital · 2026-10-10

Samsung is set to incorporate stablecoin transactions into Samsung Wallet, allowing eligible users in the U.S. to transfer Circle's USDC to compatible crypto wallets or bank accounts across more than 60 nations. This feature is scheduled to launch in the final week of October 2026, aiming to reach 82 million Galaxy devices in the U.S. Users will not need a separate crypto application or manage private keys. While Samsung will not impose fees for USDC transfers, receiving wallets might charge fees. Bank transfers will incur additional costs, which Samsung Wallet will display. Users must be at least 18 years old, possess a Samsung Account, and own a compatible device. Certain sanctioned jurisdictions are excluded, and future expansion will depend on regulations and partnerships.
