Salone del Mobile Postpones Riyadh Debut to 2027 as Kartell and Others Expand in Gulf

The Riyadh edition of Salone del Mobile.Milano has been rescheduled from November 2026 to 2027, according to president Maria Porro. A preview event is set for November 2025, showcasing 35 Italian brands. This fall, Kartell will launch a flagship store in Riyadh's KAFD, joining Minotti and Molteni&C. Meanwhile, Design Doha Biennale and Dubai Design Week will take place in November. In Berlin, YONT Studio's "Not a Passenger" installation at KaDeWe, featuring six up-cycled car seats and curated cassette players, will be on display until September 27. Ralph Lauren has met its 2030 emissions goal ahead of schedule, achieving a 42% reduction since fiscal 2020. Bergdorf Goodman marks its 125th anniversary with special styles and a commemorative book. On October 7, Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods will curate an auction at Sotheby's.
