Rungis Piano-Piano Festival 2026 Showcases Rising Duos in "Les duos de demain" on October 3
On October 3, the Rungis Piano-Piano Festival 2026 presents "Les duos de demain," a concert featuring young talents from the Académie Piano-Piano. The event continues the legacy of the Babin–Vronsky duo, with each ensemble performing a work by Babin, who was also an arranger and composer. The Inara Duo opens with Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade and two of Babin's Three March Rhythms. The Duo Crewir follows with Babin's Dance of the Tumblers and Etude No. 1. Sisters Beatrice and Eleonora Dallagnese perform Babin's Hebrew Slumber Song and Milhaud's Scaramouche. The Duo Reflet concludes with Babin's Etude No. 3 and three Tchaikovsky waltzes. The program also includes Gouvy's Lilli Bulléro op.62. Described as a passing of the torch, the concert keeps the Babin and Vronsky heritage alive through the next generation of duos. The event is a partner of Club Artistik Rezo.
