Romaeuropa Festival 2026 Announces Diverse Program Under Fabrizio Grifasi
The 41st Romaeuropa Festival is set to take place from September 8 to November 15, 2026, under the direction of Fabrizio Grifasi, showcasing modern performances throughout Rome. The event will kick off with the Italian premiere of 'Chora – Il vuoto dell’origine' by Sofia Nappi. In honor of the Rome-Paris partnership, Benjamin Millepied will present 'Summerland.' Renowned international dancers such as Michiel Vandeveld, Sasha Waltz, and Boris Charmatz will participate. Marta Ciappina will bid farewell with 'Catalogo,' featuring various artists. In theater, Romeo Castellucci will debut 'Faust. Fatto, non detto,' while Jaha Koo will showcase 'Haribo Kimchi.' Italian talents Marta Cuscunà and Giacomo Bisodri will also be featured. The festival coincides with the reopening of Teatro Valle, which will host Silvia Costa's 'Memorie di ragazza,' alongside musical performances from Caterina Barbieri and Vinicio Capossela.
