Rockport Film Festival Marks 20th Edition With 28 Films and Return of "BUCK"

• The 20th annual Rockport Film Festival runs Friday, October 30, through Sunday, November 1, at the Rockport Conference Center on the Rockport Center for the Arts campus
• The three-day schedule comprises 28 films, 23 produced in the U.S. and eight by Texas filmmakers from Austin, Corpus Christi, Denton, Killeen, and College Station
• International films come from five countries: Canada, Israel, South Korea, Spain, and the United Kingdom
• A "Texas Love" screening at 2 p.m. Sunday features The Best Little Tiny Park in Texas, Hope for the Guadalupe, Chase Your Dreams, and Two Truths
• Hope for the Guadalupe documents the July 4, 2025, floods that devastated the Hill Country
• Two Truths was made through the RCA Young Filmmakers Production Program under teacher and director Matthew Thornton with Rockport High School students
• A Red Carpet Party opens the festival at 6 p.m. Thursday, October 29, at $100, or $125 with a VIP all-weekend pass, and features the return of BUCK, first shown at the festival in 2011
• Individual film blocks are $5 and Weekend Film Passes are $25; free receptions are held at Moon Over Water Gallery and Windway Gallery
