Rock the Pistes Returns to Portes du Soleil, March 14–21, 2027

festival-fair · 2026-10-21

Rock the Pistes will hold its 2027 edition from March 14 to 21 across the Franco-Swiss slopes of the Portes du Soleil, turning ski runs into open-air stages for a week. The lineup spans rock, electro, pop, hip-hop and classical music, staged against an alpine backdrop rather than in indoor venues. The festival is itinerant and cross-border, with an oversized temporary stage erected above 1,500 metres on most days and evening after-parties in the different resorts of the domain. Organisers count nine concerts on the pistes plus dozens of après-ski shows, creating a ski-in experience within one of the world's largest ski areas. No separate festival pass is required: all concerts are open on presentation of a ski pass. Day passes cost €69 and six-day passes €352, granting unlimited access to the slopes and concerts across the Franco-Swiss Portes du Soleil domain. Ticketing is due to open soon with special offers. The domain has committed to developing Handiski, and most concert sites are reachable via a Handiski-friendly lift, with a dedicated accessible area at each site. The 2027 programme has yet to be announced.
