Rob Palmer's 'Entwined' Photography Exhibition Anchors Savour the Tweed Food Festival
From 21 to 25 October, the Tweed Valley in New South Wales will host Savour the Tweed, a five-day culinary festival organized by chef and author Christine Manfield alongside local food advocate Amy Colli. This region was recently highlighted as one of Lonely Planet's top 25 global destinations in its Best in Travel 2027 list. A key feature of the festival is 'Entwined,' a photography exhibition by Rob Palmer at M|Arts Precinct in Murwillumbah, launching with a special evening on 21 October, including discussions led by food writer Magdalena Roze. The festival also showcases chef Ben Devlin's Gyotaku Fish Art and Dining evening and the Wollumbin Art Prize at Tweed Regional Gallery, judged by Professor Lisa Slade. The $30,000 Wollumbin Art Award exhibition will display works by Stephen Bird, Penny Evans, and Pascale Bardos, concluding with a free family day at Kingscliff's Salt Central Park.
