Refract: The Seattle Glass Experience Returns in October 2026 with 'A Year of Celebration' Theme

Seattle's glass art festival, Refract: The Seattle Glass Experience, will return in October 2026 for its eighth year, with the theme 'A Year of Celebration.' The 2026 edition coincides with three major regional anniversaries: Seattle Glassblowing Studio's 35th anniversary, Pratt Fine Arts Center's 50th year of shaping artists, and Chihuly Studio's return to Venice after three decades. Programming includes art parties, live glassblowing demonstrations, special exhibitions highlighting both legacy and innovation, and open studios. The festival is designed to be hands-on and immersive, connecting visitors with the artists behind the work. More information is available at RefractSeattle.org.
