Radicondoli Festival 2026: 40th Edition Honors Fabio Gori with New Installations

The 40th edition of the Radicondoli Festival is set to take place from July 18 to 31, 2026, in the picturesque village of Radicondoli, Italy. This year's environmental art initiative, Paesaggi Contemporanei, honors Fabio Gori, a curator and collector who passed away in 2025. Attendees can look forward to three new site-specific artworks: Moussa Traore's "L'Inferno di Dante," a large equestrian sculpture made from recycled iron at the former washhouses; Giuliano Tomaino's "Picasso ci guarda… e accende una sigaretta," featuring rocking horses and cymbals in Belforte; and Luca Gilli's photographic project "Abitare l'arte" at Palazzo Bizzarrini, located in Gori's former home in Prato. Additionally, the festival will showcase Paesaggi Futuri, highlighting artists under 35, including Nicolò Andreatta, Marta Cornacchia, and others. The permanent collection features works by artists such as Vittorio Corsini and Giuseppina Giordano, whose installation "Abbraccio" will undergo restoration. Support comes from Fondazione Gori-Celle, promoPa Fondazione, and GiovaniSì (PR FSE+ Regione Toscana 2021/27), with artistic direction by Pietro Gaglianò and curation by Lorenzo Vanda.
