Public Piano Initiative Returns to Córdoba for 10th Anniversary Celebrations

The Ricardo Delgado Vizcaíno Foundation is marking its 30th anniversary by bringing its 'Pianos en la calle' program back to public spaces across Córdoba province. The initiative, now in its tenth year, aims to make music accessible to all by placing grand pianos in town squares and streets. Events begin on April 8 in Hinojosa del Duque, Dos Torres, Pedroche, and Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo, continuing on April 9 in Pozoblanco and Villanueva de Córdoba. A free concert by Curtis Phil Hsu, winner of the 70th María Canals International Music Competition, will be held at Pozoblanco's Teatro El Silo on April 9. The program concludes on April 10 in Córdoba city center with performances by pianist Alberto de Paz. All pianos are available for public use by musicians and amateurs alike, with support from the María Canals Competition Association and the Marcos Redondo Professional Music Conservatory.
