Printed Matter's New York Art Book Fair Marks 20th Anniversary at MoMA PS1 as Fall Art Fairs Fill the City

This week, the New York Art Book Fair, hosted by Printed Matter, celebrated its 20th year at MoMA PS1 in Queens, drawing in large crowds. The event featured a variety of independent publishers, artists, and zine creators, highlighting that not everyone is glued to their screens. Alongside this, several other art fairs are happening in New York City. The Armory Show is showcasing about 230 galleries, focusing on Caribbean art, while Independent 20th Century sheds light on often overlooked artists from the last century. The SPRING/BREAK Art Show is taking place in unique locations, closely tied to street art. Additionally, 77 delegations walked out during a United Nations speech, and a Nor'easter caused minimal disruption on the East Coast. This week’s street art interview features artists like City Kitty and Jorit, with photos by Jaime Rojo and Steven P. Harrington.
