Pragovka Gallery Announces Open Call for Pragicomedionale Performance Festival 2026

Pragovka Gallery has launched an open call for the second Pragicomedionale Performance Festival, scheduled for Saturday, 12 September 2026 at the Pragovka complex. Applications from Czech and international artists are due by 6 April 2026 at 23:59, with late submissions excluded from consideration. This year's theme, 'Mutual Benefits,' aims to foster mobility across Czech and international performance scenes. The festival ambassador is Pragovka resident and visual artist David Helán. An expert jury will select projects from open call submissions, supplemented by Pragovka Gallery's dramaturgical choices. Selected artists receive travel and accommodation coverage, festival PR and production, photo documentation, printed materials, artist fees based on funding, and props with installation materials. Applicants must submit a detailed project description along with a portfolio and CV, with each file labeled by name and under 10 MB via a specified form.
