PMA Films Announces September Screenings Including 'Tremors' with Finn Carter and New Documentaries

The Portland Museum of Art's film program, PMA Films, has scheduled a series of screenings from September 23 to October 5. Highlights include a free outdoor showing of 'Tremors' (1990) at Kinonik, featuring an appearance by actor Finn Carter, who will introduce the film and participate in a Q&A. Additional films include the documentary '76 Days Adrift,' about a sailor's survival at sea; 'Predators,' an exploration of true crime television; and 'The Summer Book,' an adaptation of Tove Jansson's novel. The program also features works by Don Hertzfeldt, a restored version of 'The Lovers on the Bridge,' and Andrei Tarkovsky's 'Mirror.' Screenings are held at various venues, including the Portland Museum of Art and Congress Square Park, with some events offering free admission or special discussions.
