Pitti Immagine Uomo 110: Safari jackets, Simone Rocha, and Brunello Cucinelli

Today marked the conclusion of the 110th Pitti Immagine Uomo, the biannual trade fair for menswear, held at Florence's Fortezza da Basso. As a guest designer, Irish creator Simone Rocha unveiled her inaugural independent menswear collection. Opinions among exhibitors varied regarding the fair's effectiveness; Marin Corti from Baindemer highlighted difficulties in gaining visibility, while a sales representative from Oscar Deen advocated for consistent participation. Concerns were raised about the dependence on traditional order methods. Safari jackets dominated street style, featuring a navy linen piece by J Mueser and a beige version from Armani, complemented by straw boater hats from Herno. At Manifattura Tabbacchi, collections from 20 Polimoda graduates were presented. Brunello Cucinelli hosted a dinner at Santa Maria Novella church to honor his brand's summer collection.
