Park Royal Launches Manufactory, a Festival Merging Art and Industry

On September 11–12, 2026, the Park Royal Design District (PRDD) will debut Manufactory, a festival that delves into the relationship between contemporary art and industrial production, coinciding with the opening weekend of the London Design Festival. Under the guidance of newly appointed Programme Director Mazzy-Mae Green, the event will repurpose active industrial locations—factories, warehouses, and workshops typically inaccessible to the public—into spaces for exhibitions, performances, site-specific installations, talks, and open studios. Notable features include Vida Vojić's performance inspired by Hildegard of Bingen at 57 Gorst Road, and the principal exhibition, Site Conditions, showcasing works by various artists. Additional activities include workshops, a conversation with choreographer Russell Maliphant OBE, and a curated food market highlighting Park Royal's significance in food production.
