Paris Salon unRepresented Showcases Gallery-Free Artists in Historic Mansion

From April 10 to 12, 2026, the salon unRepresented presents 15 artists without gallery representation at the Hôtel Molière in Paris's 1st arrondissement. Founded by Emilia Genuardi, a photographer's agent, gallerist, and curator, the event runs concurrently with Art Paris at the Grand Palais. Each participant is supported by a patron covering participation costs, with free entry for pre-registered visitors. Austrian photographer and painter Regina Anzenberger, born in 1962, applies delicate colors to wild nature scenes. Marseille-born Hélène Bellenger, born in 1989, prints statue photographs on cardboard to explore marble exploitation from Carrara. Auriane Kolodziej, born in 1993, transfers self-portraits onto oxidized, broken mirrors encased in black resin. Julien Mignot, born in 1981, creates abstract works condensing entire days into single visions. Tania Arancia, born in 2002 and winner of a French Caribbean and Amazonian contemporary creation grant, transforms photographic archives into textile pieces. The salon, now in its fourth year, offers an alternative to the gallery-driven fair system, focusing on artists who experiment with images. Located at 40 Rue de Richelieu, it highlights varied approaches to image-making, from texture to time.
