Paris Photo 2025 Expands Photography's Frontiers with Digital Sector and Global Voices
From November 13 to 16, 2025, the Grand Palais in Paris will host the 28th edition of Paris Photo, showcasing 220 exhibitors from 33 nations. Florence Bourgeois, the director, emphasizes the fair's broad international representation. A notable addition is the Digital Sector, introduced in 2023, which focuses on AI and digital technologies in art with 13 participating exhibitors. Julieta Tarraubella's installation, 'The Secret Life of Flowers,' illustrates themes of growth and mortality. Kevin Abosch showcases generative images, advocating for the evolution of photography. The Emergence Sector features 20 projects, including Atong Atem’s nod to 20th-century African photographers. Key works include Kumi Oguro's exploration of allure and unease, Marta Zgierska's trauma themes, and Veronica Pot's landscape photography. The overarching theme of the fair is 'kinship and relationships.'
