Paint It Black Opens Artist-Designed Restaurant Chez Paint It Black for Artissima 2024
From October 24 to November 3, 2024, Paint It Black, a bookstore and independent publishing house in Turin established in 2022 by Pietro Rossi along with his siblings Margherita and Lucia, will transform into a pop-up restaurant named Chez Paint It Black. This initiative coincides with Artissima 2024 and the Buonissima food festival. Belgian artist Pieter Vermeersch co-curates the event, showcasing recipes from artists such as Danai Anesiadou and Enzo Cucchi, prepared by chef Marco Sforza. The intimate 26-seat venue will feature a changing menu every two days, accompanied by daily music from Michele Ferrari and a series of performances and readings, alongside additional artworks from various artists, celebrating creativity and togetherness in a disjointed world.
