Orchestre Colonne Presents 'La Ferveur de l'Âme' Concert Featuring Dvořák, Bertrand, and Grieg at Salle Gaveau
On April 9, the Orchestre Colonne will perform at Salle Gaveau in Paris for a concert titled 'La Ferveur de l'Âme.' The program includes Antonín Dvořák's Cello Concerto from 1894, with soloist Raphaël Jouan, excerpts from Edvard Grieg's Peer Gynt suites, and a new work by Élise Bertrand called Prière, based on Antonin Artaud's poetry and sung by Emmanuelle Demuyter. A mystery piece, L'Invitation au voyage, will be played by Élise Bertrand on violin and Paul Zientara on viola, continuing a tradition started by Marc Korovitch. A pre-concert talk at 7:45 PM by Julie Terranti is free for ticket holders. The event is in partnership with Dolce Volta and the Club Artistik Rezo.
