Open-Air Cinema Nights at Les Invalides

The Military Governor of Paris is hosting three open-air cinema evenings in the Cour du Dôme of Les Invalides, starting September 5. The screenings take place at night in the courtyard, which is normally visited during the day, with the screen set up facing the Dôme, which houses Napoleon's tomb and is part of the complex commissioned by Louis XIV for wounded soldiers. The film lineup includes 'Le Chant du Loup' (a submarine thriller), 'WALL-E' (Disney Pixar), and 'Ils étaient un seul homme' directed by George Clooney. Access is only via Place Vauban; Rue de Grenelle remains closed during screenings. Tickets cost €12 and serve as a donation, with all proceeds going to the Comité de l'Entraide Défense, which supports four defense-related associations. No tax receipt is issued, and tickets are non-refundable if the event is cancelled.
